Financing options are broadening, as the profile of a biotechnology investor changes: corporations,
individuals and private equity groups are all investing in new or expanding biotechnology ventures.

Australian and New Zealand biotechnology ventures are discovering financing options with US investors that have an Australasian appetite and can collaborate with a local backer. The majority of these are still with venture capital funds with international or Australian interests.

This panel is designed to discuss examples of US investment into Australian and New Zealand ventures and why they have been successful. It will also explore the model for successful international venture capital investment in the future.
